ACAM filter transmission curves

Individual transmission curves can be obtained from the ING filter database. For convenience, some of these curves (copied from the database in July 2011) are compared below with the manufacturer's data:
  1. New Sloan filters (manufacturer's data, and ING scans)
  2. Old Sloan filters (ING scans)
  3. Bessell filters (manufacturer's data, and ING scans)

1 - New Sloan u, g, r, i, z filters from Asahi

Manufacturer's data:

ING transmission scans (z not scanned):

2 - Old Sloan r, i, g1, g2 filters

ING transmission scans:

3 - Bessell U B V R I filters

The FWHM bandpasses of the Bessell U, B, V, R and I filters are ~ 640, 1040, 890, 1360 and 3220 A respectively. The effective bandpass in Bessell I will be determined in part by the quantum efficiency of AUXCAM, which has dropped to ~ 0.1 by wavelength 10000 A.

Manufacturer's data:

ING transmission scans (V is not usable, R has not been scanned):
