Software building and installation

It is required that all software development projects automate build procedures based upon a single implementation of make.

The precise implementation of make to be recommended is still under review at ING. Again, it is intended that a decision is made by August 1996. Once a decision has been made as to which build tools and conventions are to be recommended by, and used at, ING a set of guidelines will be published.
