Laser protection
When using the alignment lasers as specified above no protection is needed. Protection is needed when looking purposely in the laser beam.
For eye protection for the red (632nm) laser there are blue safety glasses in the Melles Griot boxes. These boxes are located in the NAOMI cabinet (dome floor) or the General optics cabinet (first floor under observing area).
