In the Control Room

1. Log in to any ics machine except 'taurus', as user 'whtobs':

telnet lpss94  (use machine lpss94!)

2. Start GLAS/BLT mechanism GUI:

shutdownglascomms

startgui taurus GLASMECH_ENG

3. Test BLT mechanisms:
• Beam Dump:          For this test the laser safety system must be activated.
                                A LSDO must verify that the laser is off and activate the laser safety system; then:

                                move OUT and back IN

  after this test, switch and padlock off the LSDO laser safety selector switch.

• Bore sight camera:  initialise, move IN and back OUT
• x-slide:                   initialise and move to default
• y-slide:                   initialise and move to default
• Focus:                    initialise and move to default
4. Test finished:

Close windows and log out as appropriate.
