This is a ICL Control Command and is to be issued at the ICL command.
AFOFFSETTEL Command
| Format: | AFOFFSET(TEL) SKYPA SOURCE FIBRE |
| Description: | Perform telescope offset to a given fibre.
The command will move the prime focus rotator to the specified sky position angle and prompt the user to centre the specified object at the field centre before performing the offset. The command will then move the telescope to centre the object in the specified fibre and move the mobile probe to view the object above the fibre for acquisition. SOURCE is the TCS User Catalogue name of the object used for the offset. |
