Starting the mimic

Autofib and WYFFOS have calibration lamps and filters located at the Nysmith focal plane of the telescope. This is an automated unit that is under computer control. To activate the computer interface to this unit, do the following in an xterm.

  1. Telnet to andromeda.
  2. Username: whtmimic
  3. Password: *******

The filter unit has the following comparison lamps and filters available.
