Autofib 2 Fault - General Recovery Procedure (TO)



If you aren't sure exactly what the problem is then follow this flow diagram starting with the box in the top left hand corner.
 

Solution

1    AF2 Drops Off The Utlility Network.
2    AF2 Fails to FTP Files.
3    Fibre Stuck in Jaw (DUTY ENGINEER)
4    Lost Fibre  (DUTY ENGINEER)
5    AF2 `afsetup' Fails Continuously.

If none of these solution work and ONLY IF should you consider bringing down ICL.  If that doesn't work then you should contact the Duty Engineer or the appropriate AF2 Expert.
