Section 5 Other Engineering development work

The previous 4 sections have described how to setup the robot to make it operational for an engineering environment.  This will allow engineers to do development work and test the robot.

There aare other development work that can be done on the instrument.  For example, to develop and engineer the field plate, to optically align the small fibres, all require different procedures.

Below is a list of the different procedures that are required to do delevopment work on other parts of the instrument.  Some of this information is already documented.  Other information will became availiable in the course of time.  There maybe information contained within the documentation set that contains information on AF2.

If there is an aspect of AF2 that you what to know about and can't find the procedure or documentation then the best thing to do is to contact the person responsible for the instrument (currently Kevin Dee kmd@ing.iac.es) and they will be able to point you in the right direction.
