INT Sony Incremental Focus Encoder

Description

The Sony incremental focus encoder on the INT comprises of:

The transducer is a digital incremental encoder with a resolution of 0.5 Micron.  The encoder is zeroset from the absolute encoder during the start up of the TCS.  The absolute encoder is not used after this.  All focus encoding is done from the incremental encoder after start up.  If there is a failure of the absolute encoder, then the encoder can be zeroset from the TCS.
