The Sony incremental focus encoder on the INT comprises of:

The setup menu is entered by pressing and holding <SET> and then, at the same time, pressing and holding <MODE> for two seconds. The menu is scrolled through by pressing <MODE> repeatedly. To change a setting, repeatedly press the up arrow for the options. To program the new setting, press <SET>. The current settings are:

The RS232 from the Sony LT20-101C control unit is connected to a Kinetic Systems 3340 Communication interface with the following settings:
The Sony LT20-101C will be automatically zeroset from the ASL absolute
transducer on starting up the TCS. There will also be a zeroset command
that will enable zerosetting from absolute transducer or to a user defined
value, should the ASL absolute transducer fail.
