Mimic requirements

  1. In order to make the mimic easy to read, the drawing will reflect the relationship between the elements, rather than their physical positions.
  2. The mimic window is to be as small as possible, after allowing for clarity.
  3. The mechanisms are to be colour coded as follows:
  4. If a warning box is to be displayed at any time, it should be red.
  5. If a filter is in the light beam, the light beam should be drawn in a different colour after the filter. It should be the colour of the filter,if it is not too time-consuming to implement this.
  6. Obsolete mechanisms (the grisms, drift table and hartman shutters) are not to be displayed unless they get out of position.
