clearreads command

Function:

clearreads sets the number of clearing reads to be performed prior to observations.

Usage:

    clearreads [<camera>] <n-reads>

where n-reads is the number of readouts to be performed before the observation starts.

Examples:

    clearreads liris 3

sets up the number of clearing reads to be performed on the detector to 3

Notes and caveats:

This command is normally only useful for NDR cameras such as INGRID and LIRIS.
For multiple observations using 'multrun' type commands, the clearing readouts are performed only once at the start of the multrun sequence.
The number of clearing reads for a particular detector defaults to the value set in the udas camera configuration file.
