Software Documentation

This document describes the documentation archive of the Control Software Group (CSG). Its purpose is to assist the reader in obtaining the documentation that he or she requires.

Documentation which is created at ING is referenced by a Document ID. If you have this document id then it is usually easy to obtain the document as the html directory structure is so constructed to allow you to access the document from the ID.

If you don't have a Document ID then we have a search engine available for your use on the ING Document Search page.

We also have a catalogue of documentation which describes the location of documents which are not available online.This is available at :- Document Catalogue.

For some of our real time instrumentation control we use EPICS, further information is available on our EPICS page.

Information about the Telescope Control System (TCS) software and notes on the Alphas can be found on our TCS pages.
