COMMENTS:

On the whole I found most of the arrangements and facilities very good. In particular I thought that the travel + hotel bookings that Mavi Hernandez arranged were very useful. I also appreciated that the TO was an astronomer himself. As far as I can tell so far the instrument performance, detectors etc were all very satisfactory.

On the other hand, I found that the speed of the unix boxes was on the sluggish side. I am hoping to perform online data reduction during the next trip and am not entirely sure whether this will easily be possible.

It's a great improvement to have some terminals at the residencia! Though I'd suggest disabling the lock-screen facility if that's possible... half of them seemed to be continuously locked when I was there. A couple more basic instruction sets would also come in handy.
