indications are getting stronger that in particular lpss1 and lpss3 are struggeling with the work load. On lpss3 for instance the quick-look data reduction s/w is not really quick enough, and for WYFFOS reduction and UES the word 'quick' is simply inappropriate.

I guess that the new machines for data acquisition on the INT and JKT will be able to cope with the data rate and data reduction requirements. My suggestion is to bid for more powerful machines to replace lpss1 and 3.
