There are essentially two ways to connect to the ING computer network:
Using a temporary IP number. When configuring your
computer for network access you may select an IP address, for the
appropriate telescope, from the list of
Telescope Assigned IP Numbers (http://www.ing.iac.es:8080/~cfg/network/public/tempip.html)
or you may apply for static IP addresses using
this
form (http://www.ing.iac.es:8080/~cfg/public/visitors/visitors.php).
Using a DHCP-assigned IP number. To apply for a DHCP IP addresses you need to provide the MAC address of your computer and complete this form (http://www.ing.iac.es:8080/~cfg/public/visitors/visitors.php).
