midas installation

Location: midas is currently installed under /opt/midas.
  1. fetch the pre compiled midas tar file from ESO
  2. untar into /opt/midas
  3. check and import modified files which are kept in /opt/midas/local
  4. cd /opt/midas//install/unix
  5. sh config 
        - select option 8 (setup midas) and give the following answers
      SUN/Solaris
      dbx
      lpr
      lpr
      greimel@ing.iac.es
    - check any messages and exit
  6. point symbolic link /opt/midas/current to /opt/midas/
  7. distribute (from taurus)
