Note: The following information is only valid for accounts at the ING.

The environment to use IDL should already be set up.
To enable astrolib under IDL

  1. You need to have the astrosw definitions set in your login scripts.
Running IDL
To start IDL, use 
idl
To access the astrolib routines, use the following within IDL: 
IDL> astrolib
