| Description: | It is a 1.93-m telescope used at the F/15 Cassegrain focus. Available instrumentation is either (i) a fixed-configuration high-resolution cross-dispersed échelle spectrograph (SOPHIE), particularly efficient for very precise radial velocity measurements (<3 m/s); or (ii) a long-slit (5 arc-min) all-reflecting low-dispersion spectrograph (CARELEC) with broad-band sensitivity. Telescope time is scheduled on a two-semester system. Proposals should be submitted electronically by early April (for September-February) and by early October (for March-August).
