Description: The CAHA 3.5m is an equatorially mounted telescope with a f/10 Ritchey Chrétien focus, two corrected prime foci with f/3.48 and f/3.93 and an IR optimized f/45 RC focus. An f/35 Coudé focus is currently not in use.

The instrumentation includes:
-. LAICA: Wide field imager with a FOV of 44' x 44'.
-. OMEGA-2000: Wide field camera for the near infrared with a FOV of 15.4'.
-. OMEGA-Cass: IR imager for the RC focus.
-. PMAS: Integral field spectrograph with a fibre coupled lens array and a fibre-bundle.
-. MOSCA: Focal reducer for the RC focus, providing imaging, long slit spectroscopy and multi-object spectroscopy
-. TWIN spectrograph of intermediate spectral resolution for simultaneous spectroscopy in two wavelength ranges.
