Description: The INT is an equatorially mounted telescope with a 2.54 metre diameter f/2.94 primary mirror. The focal ratio at the Cassegrain focus is f/15, while the corrected prime focus is f/3.29.

Two instruments are available, the prime focus Wide Field Camera (WFC) and the Cassegrain Intermediate Dispersion Spectrograph (IDS).

The WFC consists of a mosaic of 4 thinned 2k by 4k pixel CCDs, covering a field of nearly 1/3rd of a degree. An extensive set of filters is available, as well as tools for fast quick look and pipeline data reduction.

The IDS is a long-slit spectrograph (3.3 arcmin slit, 0.4 arcsec/pix) equipped with a EEV10 CCD. Available gratings provide dispersions from 0.24 to 3.7 Angstrom/pixel.
