At the end of the night, when all exposures have been taken, simply hit the PF1 key until you reach the top of the Instrument Control's menu tree. You'll then be asked to verify that you want to shut down, so answer `yes'. When ALICE has finished shutting down, all but the ALICE occam screen and the original DECterm window should have closed. If you logout of the DECterm window, the ALICE occam screen should also close, but if it doesn't, simply select its `Files' button and choose `Exit'.
