The Screens Menu

The Screens menu allows the user to determine which data buffer is displayed in the image area, and how the data is displayed. In each case the mapping between the data buffer and the image display is such that the whole data buffer is displayed. For windowed CCD data the window is displayed in its correct position on the chip. For all CCD data the aspect ratio of the detector is preserved. Options, which can be selected with , are:--

• CCDS - Data from one of the CCDs is displayed. Individual CCDs can be selected using the icons alongside the main display area.
• IPCS 8:1 - This option has not been implemented.
• IPCS 1:1 - The IPCS data buffer is selected. The whole display is not necessarily used in the vertical direction, and for the IPCS the pixels do not necessarily have the correct aspect ratio on the screen.

The remaining screens are not used for displaying ISIS data.
