Command Qualifiers

Many commands can be accompanied by qualifiers, some of which are general to almost all commands and some of which are specific to a few commands. All qualifiers have default values or default settings. In many cases the user can adjust the defaults to his or her needs (see section ). A summary of functions of qualifiers is given in table along with their default values, where applicable.

Most qualifiers may be negated. If a qualifier (in either positive or negative form) is used more than once with the same command, the action is determined by the last occurrence. Table (right-hand pages) and table show with what commands each qualifier may be used.
