COMMENT

Log a comment on an observation. The text of the comment is written to the observing log and to the FITS headers.

Format: COMMENT <channel> [<comment>]

Channel: The name of data-acquisition channel on which to log the comment.

Comment: The text of the comment (up to 70 characters).

Example: comment ues "Superb S/N!"

Queuable: No.

Comments: If no comment text is given on the command line, an editor is started to take in the comment, in which case more than 70 characters can be entered. Comments can only be entered while an observation is in progress. See also log_change.
