RAT_WAIT

Forces ICL to wait for a DAS command to finish.

Format: RAT_WAIT <channel> <timeout>

Channel: The name of the data-acquisition channel.

Timeout: The longest time to wait, in seconds.

Examples: rat_wait blue 10.5

Queuable: No.

Comments: This command blocks ICL (messages to the terminal are output but no new commands are accepted) for the duration of the DAS command that was executing on the named channel when rat_wait was issued. If no command is executing, rat_wait completes immediately. The time-out is provided to ensure that ICL is unlocked if the original DAS command does not complete. When an interactive observation is in progress, rat_wait will complete whenever that command pauses for instructions.
