SUMMARY FOR EXPERTS

WARM RESTART (after a controlled shutdown)

  1. D D <cr> at system terminal check that EGLE: is on as SYS. There should be three LEDs shining on front of EAGLE. If not, switch ON and DEPROTECT and wait for three LEDs to come on.
  2. If EGLE: is OFF then type

    MA EGLE:,ON,,CD=ALL It will take more than a minute to get a one-line response....then

  3. STARTUP <cr>
  4. SI[GNON] ABC,nn,DEF at the USER terminal

COLD RESTART (system off or re-initialised)

  1. check mains supply on
  2. check Eagle disc powered up and running
  3. INIT the PE3210. Answer FB,F0,2,EGLE3210.LPO to prompts and await "End of Environment Configuration'.
  4. SI ABC,nn,DEF at the user terminal
