A true-colour image of M51 taken during the commissioning of the INT
Wide-Field Camera in January 1997. The image is composed of three
two-minute exposures taken through B, V and R filters, and covers the area
of one 2048-square CCD, or and area approxmimately 12x12 arcminutes.
