This picture is the sum of three 120s exposures using a narrow band filter centered at 618 nanometers. It's 10.7×9.6 degrees and it was taken from 21:25 UT.
[gif,50k] This is a detail of the former picture where the ion tail is magnified. Now the field size is 3.11×5.18 degrees. This tail shows now lot of filaments and several observers have reported two naked eye ion tails.

This picture is the sum of two 1s exposures without filters. The field size is 43×48 arcminutes and it was taken at 21:09 UT. The head of the comet seems to be circular. The object on the top left is a star visible through the tail.
