DEROTATORis for use when the derotation optics are mounted. It drives the rotator so as to give a stationary image. ROTATORassumes that the instrument is mounted directly on the turntable. NOROTATORis for use when the derotation optics are not mounted and the instrument is stationary on the optical table. Examples: GHRIL DEROTATOR Comments: Applies GHRIL pointing model, enables GHRIL rotator and disables all other rotators. Does not move the Nasmyth flat, which is not under computer control.
