Logging-in

To run Autofib2/WYFFOS, you will need to run the ICL task on the VAX-station in the control room.

• Type lpvf in the Dec terminal on lpvs2
• Login and Password available from your SA or island staff; login and follow the prompts.
• Type icl and follow the prompts.

On lpss3 start-up the IRAF window and SPARC real-time display (using left mouse button - under programs). If you select the IRAF version of the SPARC real time display, any data you take will be automatically transferred in IRAF format to a directory /scratch/lpss/yymmdd with a filename r123456 where 123456 is the run number (filename gwyyfos for a glance file).
