Rich Reed demonstrated some of the NOAO large-chip cameras. In particular we saw the Quad, front-side CCD, Loral head which appeared to operate with much the same sort of characteristics as our own cryogenic heads. Hold-times , thermal load , power required at , using 1.5 litres of cryogen. Pixel time is (i.e. 4 amps with integrator slopes). Noise figures looked good, for thick devices, for thinned devices.
