rspeed sets the CCD mosaic to use one of the five readout speeds standard, quick, turbo, nonastro and oneccd. All subsequent observations use this speed until rspeed is run again, CCD binning is requested, or the observing system is restarted.
rspeed {standard|quick|turbo|nonastro|oneccd}
There is no slow speed for the WFC. Oneccd has displaced it from the CCD controller's internal tables.
If binning greater than 1x1 is switched on, the speed falls to standard and stays there. The speed is not restored to its former value if the binning is switched back to 1x1.
Oneccd speed gives the fastest possible readout by reading out only one of the four CCDs. This speed is an engineering feature and should not be used with the normal observing set-up (unless the DAsS is reconfigured to expect one observation per run instead of four, the runs will not complete properly).
