startwfc: start the observing system for INT WFC (low level)

Function:

startwfc opens an observing station for the INT WFC. One of five observing stations may be selected:

SYS
is the system-computer console. Opening this station starts a full observing system, including the server programs that give access to the telescope, instrument and detecors. Closing SYS shuts down the full observing system and closes any other observing stations that may be open.
TO
is the telescope operator's position. Opening TO starts a set of displays and GUIs but doesn't start the server programs. Station SYS must also be opened before station TO can drive the system. Closing TO closes its local displays but doesn't shut down any other parts of the system.
GANTRY
is the VT terminal on the access gantry in the INT dome. Opening this station doesn't start any programs and closing it doesn't stop any.
X
is a generic station with X-windows. It is treated as TO.
TTY
is a generic station without X-windows. It is treated as GANTRY.

Once the various displays and servers are started, startwfc drops you into a new command shell. Exiting from this shell (just type exit) closes down the observing station as described above.

Usage:

   startwfc station
where station is one of the names listed above (it must be given in upper case).

Notes and caveats:

You can have one of each station open.
