startobssys: start the observing system
Function:
startobssys starts programs in the observing system. The set of
programs is chosen according to the telescope, instrument, observing station
and system version: these should have been determined variously at login and
by running the obssys command.
Observing stations for the INT are:
- SYS
- the console of the system computer.
- TO
- the TO's X-terminal.
- GANTRY
- the VT220 terminal on the access gantry in the dome.
The server programs for the system are only started when someone logs in at
station SYS; the other stations only start displays and interfaces.

startobssys
Notes and caveats:
startobssys will not work correctly unless the version of the
observing system has been defined: see obssys.
