File Allocations

Various sorts of files are used to help the user in his data analysis. These have the following shorthand notations

Store files can be used for reduced data, temporary files for intermediate steps in the data reduction. For example, to display run 6 on the lexidata, simply type

ADAM> DISP R6

In addition, many ADAM procedures adopt the convention of a current image, which by default is the last image called ( it could be a GLANCE image or the latest RUN image).
