5.3. Prime focus acquisition

Acquisition at prime focus is exactly the same as for Cassegrain focus, see section 5.1. for details. The only restrictions are that since the CCD is illuminated by a fibre covering roughly half the area of the CCD, the acquisition window is limited to the size of the fibre. Continuous acquisition only reads out this fibre window.
