I shall use this to develop source code before release. My first document will be the current Autoguider release note.

This is the main World Wide Web entry point to network information at Cambridge Astronomy. A brief overview of astronomy and the Web along with a new user's guide and a list of local services are now available.

In addition to the information available in the topics listed below, you can discover what new facilities are offered by this server, what's new with the World Wide Web, and learn about Mosaic.

Some of the new Hubble pictures - including some new ones!

Astronomy things
The Astronomy Page includes pointers to useful astronomy information all over the world, including access to databases, documentation, and other home pages, including the MRAO Home Page, the X-ray group public page and the UK HST Support Group Page.

For those using Mosaic 2.1 or a similar client with WAIS access, a list of searches is available - including the score and article size returned by the search. A similar list is available for those still using older browsers (who really should upgrade).

Astronomical data is also available including Dave Green's Catalogue of Supernova Remnants.

Documentation
There is an index of available documentation: this includes Starlink documentation, the Big Dummies Guide to the Internet, an introductory guide to Unix and guides to submitting TeX or LaTeX articles to astronomy journals.

Network Services
Such as access to the Cambridge Astronomy gopher service, the Cambridge Computer Laboratory WWW server, the default Mosaic home page, along with EXPO, one of the highlights of the web. In addition, you can access some information on SuperJANET.

Some local user home pages are also available. These have pointers to information our users find useful, as well as descriptions of research activities.

General Information
This includes local Cambridge information, like telephone numbers and train times, and some general references that always come in handy. There are also pointers to other pages of general interest

Local Information
There is a local home page that is only accessible from the Cambridge Astronomy machines, containing information specific to our computing network.
You can also look at the usage statistics for this server.
