Calibration information

This includes:

Line lists for the Copper-Argon and Copper-Neon calibration lamps for the ISIS spectrograph.
Arc maps from ISIS on the WHT, Blue arm (IPCS detector) (2400 line/mm grating, dispersion 0.08 Angstroms/pixel and slit width 120 microns), and Red arm (GEC CCD detector) (600 line/mm grating, dispersion 0.73 Angstroms/pixel and slit width 120 microns).
Tables of flux against wavelengths for some spectrophotometric standards.
There are finding charts of some of the new Landolt photometric standard sequences.

Guide Star Server

Guide probe positions for stars from the HST Guide Star catalogue can be found using the Guide Star Server for any focal station on any of the ING telescopes.

Standard Star Information

Jeremy Walsh at ST-ECF has compiled a very useful set of pages with information on optical and UV spectrophotometric standard stars.

Flux lists for many standards (currently kept on-line at the RGO cambridge server)

The APM Sky Catalogues

There is a description of the APM Sky Catalogues; catalogues of objects over most of the Northern and part of the Southern sky, based on scans made with the Automated Plate measuring Machine of plates from the Palomar and UKST sky surveys.
