At each change of instrument or detector, the DAS channels to be used must be matched to the CCDs in use. Dasprofile does this for one CCD: it reads the profile for the named detector and sets the CCD headcode, the size of the full frame of the CCD and the position of the bias regions. The number of the channel to set up is taken from the profile.
dasprofile detector
where detector is the name of the CCD.
dasprofile MOS1sets up the number-1 CCD of the WFC.
Dasprofile should be entered at the console of the DAS computer, not at the system computer.
This command is intended for ING staff setting up the observing system after an instrument change. Observers should not need to use this command.
The WFC has four CCD profiles, MOS1, MOS2, MOS3 and MOS4.
Names of CCD profiles are case sensitive.
