New optics for the slit viewer

A new optics for the slit viewer was installed at the begining of December 2004.  This optic is designed to be able to see a 4x4 arcmin field in order to see the whole slit. The old Cryocam is now removed and the new CCD can be operated below UltraDas. This is a large improvement as the CCD and control is much better than Cryocam and easily to operate in particular for the TOs. Also the images can be stored in the usual way.
Dome flat-field images were obtained. The three images shown below were takken with the dekker in position 6, 7, and 8 respectively (the clear positions of the "normal" dekker unit).  The images show the circular slit unit with the slit in the center. The slit unit is vignetted by the dekker one. Dekker position 7 is the best suggested position. The vignetting produced by the dekker suggest also to use a window in the y direction during operation.
The vignetting observed in the upper-left side if the image is due to the polarimetric unit and in principle we should survive with.
