Investigation of the increase in the number of hot pixels
in the INGRID array - Hawaii-I

Darks taken on November 6th, showed an apparent increase in the number of hot
pixels of INGRID.
It was then decided to investigate further and to find out when the increase took place.
The table below shows the percentage of hot pixels in each quadrant (being outside a
+/-4-sigma range around the dark current level) and in each intensity interval.
It's clear that the increase took place between July 18th and August 16th 2003.
There was a warm up of the intrument just after the NAOMI+INGRID July run, and
it's not clear to us (sgr,awr,azurita) whether the power was kept on while
colling down (which we have heard could increase the number of hot pixels).
