Checking Pupil Stops repeatability between positions
cass-j and cass-k
8-March-2003
Test performed and analyzed by A. Zurita
=======================================================
I run the script copied at the end of
this file, which after datumming the
INGRID filter and pstop wheels, moves
the pstop wheel between the cass-j
and cass-k positions.
The PI was in the beam during the test.
The table below contains the run number and the position
of the center of the pupil stop (cass-j or cass-k) on the
detector for the images taken after each movement.
See the plots showing the drift in pixels of the pupil
stops and the estimated vignetting due to the drift
(for the measurements of the cass-j (plot1) and the
cass-k (plot2) pupil stops).
There is clear evidence of drift, and after ~20 movements
the vignetting introduced is ~2%.
