1. Summary
This document summarises the changes made to the latest version in the
J10 release tree of the JKT Telescope Control System, J10-0-1, to produce
the release tree J11.

4. Deliverables and Installation

The CMS classes necessary to build TCS versions in the J11 release tree
are defined in Section 8, they are also defined in the version files in
[JKT_LOGIN.VERSION].

CMS libraries containing the source code for the TCS, the PLOT and
CAMTEST utilities, and the build procedures are held on LPAS3; the root
directory for the CMS libraries is defined by the logical name
SOURCE_DIR.

The release notes document for the J11 release tree (this document) is
stored in ~docs/tcs/jktrel/tcs-jktrel-11/tcs-jktrel-11.html

The Latex source for the JKT User Manual is stored in
~mpf/docs/tcs/jkt_manual/. Note that this file needs updating. The
Postscript version is in

5. Reasons for release

New features

The login window disappears once the TCS has been started.

TELD is started from a detached process.

TELD messages are logged to a file.

More robust method of reading the autoguider packets from CAMAC.

Encoder logs include the focus encoder.

Longitude is now correctly negative in the FITS headers.

The new pointing model provides much improved pointing and tracking.
